Our range of 14 individual magazines cover most of Nottingham and they’re hand delivered by our distribution team to the following post codes across the city; NG2, NG3, NG4, NG5, NG6, NG8, NG9, NG10, NG13, NG14, NG15, NG16, NG21, NG22, NG25 and DE7!
Over 180,000 copies of our mags are distributed to homes and businesses across Nottinghamshire every two months!

Where it all began!
Starting in 2006 with one magazine, the NG5 Arnold!
1st March 2006 was the day we, Ali and Cat, decided to go for it and start ng magazines. May 2006 and the 1st edition of ng5 Arnold was delivered through doors to 5,000 homes by Ali, Cat, friends and family. Believe it or not, it had black and white pages with a full colour cover! We would like to say a big thank you to All Weathers Plumbing and some of the other advertisers that have been with us right from the start. You can even see All Weathers Plumbing’s first advert in the original magazine above, which is now 20 years old!
We need a bigger place!
Another 2 magazines added and Sarah to join the team – we need an office!
2 years later and we had grown to 3 magazines. ng3 and ng5 Sherwood were now part of the ng portfolio and we launched the new ng magazines website in April. We were in need of help so Gary’s business took over our distribution and Sarah joined the team in August. This meant a bigger and better work space was needed so we found a suitable office on Goodwood Avenue in Arnold.

We expanded our magazine count to 6 and needed more help!
With ng15, ng16 and ng14 (or ngV) under our belt, another move was on the cards, but only to next door – so not that far to go! We expanded the team again so 3 became 4 and increased our magazine distribution from 32,000 to 63,000 magazines.
How we’ve changed!
Over 10 years old and time for a rebrand!
2016 saw the 10 year anniversary of ng magazines! We all celebrated, a lot, and added a 10 year badge to the front of the magazines throughout 2016. The cover of ng magazines has seen some minor changes over the years but none were as great as the Feb/March edition in 2017. The magazine had a fantastic new design incorporating the Nottingham skyline.
The BIG Office Move!
Finally a workspace that really suited ng magazines – Calverton here we come!
Ng magazines grew fast and quick in 2022 when the opportunity to buy 4 magazines South West of Nottingham presented itself. Holidays were cut short, hours increased, Emma joined the team and copious amounts of caffeine were consumed to cope with the new workload. With 14 magazines now to our name we were bursting at the seams. We desperately needed bigger premises and a small warehouse in Calverton with an office and a flyer counting area came to our rescue.
